Recently, PW Insider gave an update on the former WWE Champion’s injury and noted that the injury is legitimate and Styles is unable to walk properly with his injured left foot.
“For those of you who have asked, the AJ Styles injury earlier tonight was 100% legitimate and not part of some sort of storyline work for the live event in Hershey, PA. We are told it was “likely” an ankle injury and Styles will be getting it checked out ASAP. Until he gets that done, there’s no way of knowing if and/or how long he will be out of action. Styles was having issues putting weight on his left foot after the match and was walked out by WWE officials.”
