Speaking with Mirror Sport, Kross addressed the people who do not want to work with Bray Wyatt. While praising the creativity Wyatt brings to the table, he also went on to mention that Bray justifies a famous and old saying about WWE.
“If you don’t want to work with him, you’re crazy,” said Kross. “I’ve always had a very strong admiration for his creativity. I feel like he opens doors, not only for fans, literally, but he opens up new avenues for us to create for everyone as performers. When he dares to do something different, it just brings more possibilities. One of my favourite quotes, especially growing up, was the old saying ‘anything can happen in the WWE’ and when he’s around it’s totally true.” (via Cultaholic)
WWE News: Karrion Kross explains his decision to snub AEW for WWE
The recent tug-of-war between two of the top promotions in the pro wrestling industry has been a fascinating watch. But the Stamford-based promotion came out on top in the battle for Karrion Kross.
In the same interview, Kross explained that his decision was taken keeping in mind what the fans wanted.
“There was an idea that was proposed to me to come and do something there [at AEW],” Kross said. “But it was just so abundantly clear to me from dealing with fans face to face, that a WWE return was what people wanted to see. … It was always flattering. We were grateful we were receiving offers to do things but at the end of the day we knew we really should not tie ourselves down contractually somewhere else.”
Kross is currently out of action due to an attack by Drew McIntyre on a recent episode of SmackDown.
