As noted earlier, WWE announced The Usos for a tag team match next week against The Judgment Day. On the other hand, WWE will commence the tag team tournament to determine the next challenger for the SmackDown tag team titles.
As per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Triple H has made a major decision regarding the tag team titles. It seems Triple H has made a decision to split the titles as he recognizes both titles separately for both brands. Also, The Usos were not supposed to hold the Undisputed Tag Team Titles for a long time regardless of being the Bloodline members.
“The idea right now on the tag team front is that there are two sets of belts. The Usos are champions but the Raw and Smackdown belts are different. This is a new Paul Levesque move and it does allow the Usos to lose one set of belts and keep the other. It was explained to me that the hope is it makes fans think it’s more likely somebody beats them for one set of belts.”

Last year, The Usos defeated RK-Bro to earn those titles. Due to Randy Orton’s injury and RK-Bro being out of the picture, WWE had no choice but to put the titles on The Usos. However, the recent plans will put one of their titles at risk.
