“We continue to see strength in the performance of our mobile games, with 2K and Scopely’s Supercard and Champions, and recently signed a new deal in the role-playing game space that will be announced soon.”

WWE recently released the 2K22 game, the game was a huge success and is liked by all. However. it is rumored at WWE had problems with 2K after due to the poor creation of the 2K20 game. McMahon cleared the air regarding those problems as well.

As the interview went on, Stephanie spoke about the business importance of these games. As generations pass by audiences are getting more inclined to gaming. WWE also as a product wants to cater to a young audience and the WWE Games is a perfect opportunity to help them do so.

“Gaming is a priority for WWE to reach our next-gen audience, with over 80% of WWE’s audience self-identifying as gamers, and nearly 60% of the gaming audience, in general, being 34 years or younger.”

It will be interesting to see how the WWE Universe reacts to the new RPG game. The chances of success will surely be higher as WWE leaves no stone unturned when it comes to building its brand.
