For weeks, there were speculations regarding The Boss probably joining AEW to team up with Saraya for a tag team match. Even some wrestling veterans and people within AEW thought of former WWE stars joining to become All Elite. However, all speculation seems false as a new report states that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion is not close to joining WWE’s rival promotion.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio detailed Sasha Banks’ status ahead of AEW big event. He stated that Banks doesn’t want a long time commitment with Tony Khan.

“She is not in Los Angeles. She is not coming to AEW. I don’t think she wants to make that commitment. Because if she goes to AEW it’s a long commitment.”

“I’ve heard denials from AEW people in the match. They knew that it was really screwed. That’s why they had to announce somebody this week because they knew it was really screwed because everybody was thinking that it was her and it wasn’t her.”
