Sami Zayn, who had made it possible through his on-screen presence and excellent portrayal of his character, recently spoke to Sports Illustrated about his partnership with the Bloodline. While explaining why the storyline was a smash hit, he pointed out that it is a result of hard work and sincerity.
“Part of why the cheers rolled in for me with The Bloodline quicker than I expected, to be honest, is because it’s so earnest. You can see the desire to be with these people is genuine. It’s a very relatable story, but not in an unattainable way. You’re finally hanging out with the cool kids, and you realize they’re not that different.
He further went on to highlight that he has always believed in his own abilities from the very start of his pro wrestling career.
“On paper, maybe people would think I don’t fit in on the top of the card. But I believe I’m pretty good at this. It’s so hard to separate a healthy dose of self-confidence from my delusions, but from an early age, even when I wasn’t that good, my performances stood out. Even in the church basement in front of 60 people in Montreal, it worked.”

WWE News: Sami Zayn provides the hack to a successful segment
The 38-year-old has provided many highly rated segments in the past year. Starting from his WrestleMania 38 bout with Johnny Knoxville and assorted members of Jackass to the segments with the Bloodline, he has been exceptional in each of them.
In the same interview, Sami Zayn shed light on the main thing that needs to be done to get the most out of a segment.
“I don’t mean to get too philosophical with wrestling theory, but it extends to everything we’re doing. You have to put value on it, or else you can’t ask the fans to give you that value in return.”
