In 2022, WWE’s approach toward holding Premium Live Events in big stadiums has increased. In 2022, WWE scheduled a total of 8 Premium Live Events in big stadiums. But the company is pushing more for the next year in 2023.

In a recent report by Andrew Zarian of The Mat Men Podcast, WWE is trying to scale its Premium Live Event in stadiums. Eventually, WWE has noted a different path to scale its business. As per Andrew Zarian’s reports, it says:

“A source over at WWE mentioned that WWE intends to run more stadium shows moving forward in 2023. Just for reference 2022 has 8 stadium events. The goal is to make this the new norm. This is a Nick Khan approach when it comes to Premium Live Events,” Andrew Zarian tweeted.

WWE Intends to Grow More Profit Through Premium Live Events

Earlier this month, WWE held WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Although WWE brought a vast audience for the Showcase of Immortals, it couldn’t match its previous record of 100,000 at WrestleMania 32.

However, Andrew Zarian explained how stadium shows would benefit WWE in the future.

“The scalability of large stadiums is very beneficial when it comes to having live attendance over 15k. The event doesn’t have to be a sell-out of 50k+ but now you have room to do 20-35k shows more often leading to much higher revenue & higher level of excitement for the event,” Andrew Zarian tweeted.
