Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn: Sami Zayn REVEALS he wants to bring back OLD THEME for Elimination Chamber
While speaking on The Sick Podcast, the former Bloodline member talked about his upcoming match at Elimination Chamber. He mentioned he would love to bring back his old theme from NXT days when he was a babyface on the development brand. Moreover, fans love his old theme ‘Worlds Apart’.
“I mean, if it were going to come back, I feel like that would be the time in place to do it. I’ve said this in other interviews. I feel like it would kind of be taking a step backward. I think maybe a new song is in the cards, but I feel like that song, even though people have a real fondness for it, it seems. From a character’s perspective, it just feels like taking a step backward. At the same time, doing it for like a one-night thing in Montreal might be cool. I don’t know.”
Sami Zayn was an enormous star in his NXT days as he achieved several milestones in the development territory. He won the NXT title and had impressive matches with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, Neville, and Antonio Cesaro. His babyface run came to an end after he made his main roster debut. However, he still managed to do great work with his in-ring abilities and first match with John Cena.
Zayn’s old theme received huge pop as a babyface during his NXT days and it seems we will be watching the same at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada next week.
