WWE News: WWE is heading towards a monumental change. After the immense success of the King of the Ring tournament, the latest WWE news suggests that the company is heading towards a possible Queen of the Ring tournament that will take place this year.
WWE News: WWE has finally pulled the trigger on the Queen of the Ring tournament
For years, fans have speculated that whether WWE will ever bring a Queen of the Ring tournament or not, but finally, the trigger has been pulled, and the tournament will get underway from this year.

Wrestling Inc was the first to reveal that WWE is planning to conduct a Queen of the Ring tournament, but dates remained unknown. But, according to Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, the tournament will get underway on the October 8th episode of WWE Smackdown and October 11th episode of WWE Raw. Zarian took to his official Twitter handle to break the news. Here’s what the Tweet read,

WWE News: King of the Ring tournament will also return this year
2019 was the last time WWE hosted a King of the Ring tournament that saw Baron Corbin winning the crown to become ‘King Corbin.’ Courtesy of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no such tournament in 2020, but now it is expected to return.

The Queen of the Ring though will be the first of its kind dedicated to the women superstars of the company. WWE has hosted an all-women PPV named Evolution in 2018, but since then, the Queen of the Ring tournament will be something precisely dedicated to WWE women.
