WWE News: This WWE news is regarding the next women’s tournament. As reported earlier, WWE is all set to host a King of the Ring-type tournament for the female superstars that will reportedly close out in Saudi Arabia at the Crown Jewel event on October 21. Previously, it was rumored that the women’s tournament will be named “Queen of the Ring,” but that isn’t the case.
According to Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast, WWE registered a trademark for “Queen’s Crown Tournament” in August. Therefore, this is the tournament that will possibly commence from this week’s Friday Night Smackdown, and the finals will take place at the Crown Jewel event on October 21.

WWE News: What will be the format for Queen’s Crown Tournament?
The Queen Crown’s tournament will feature women from both brands, i.e., WWE Raw & WWE Smackdown. It would be a knockout tournament where the loser won’t get any chance to compete further, whereas the winner proceeds to the next round.
With this being the inaugural tournament, one can not say how many female superstars will be competing. However, it is expected that this first-time tournament will see all the top draw female superstars from either brand and maybe from NXT 2.0 as well.

WWE News: King of the Ring tournament will also take place simultaneously
Although the date for the King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown Tournament has not been announced yet, but it is expected the two tournaments will take place simultaneously. Also, the final will take place on the same day, i.e., October 21, at the Crown Jewel event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We will keep you updated on further news regarding the two tournaments.
