WWE News: This massive WWE news is regarding Wrestlemania 38. The perennial PPV event of WWE i.e., Wrestlemania 37, will be hosted on April 3, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Now, the reports are surfacing that it would be a two-night affair.

WWE News: Wrestlemania 38 to be a 2-night affair?

As per the latest update, the plan in works for Wrestlemania 38 is to be a 2-night event similar to the last two Wrestlemanias. Also, WWE has announced the venue and date for Wrestlemania 39. The colossal PPV event would take place at the SoFI Stadium in Inglewood on April 3, 2023, and it is expected that The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will headline the show.

As per Fightful Select, the current plan for Wrestlemania 38 is to take place on Saturday, April 2 & Sunday, April 3, with the COVID-19 pandemic scenario in mind. If things go as per plans, Wrestlemania 38 would be the first-ever two-night Wrestlemania to happen in front of a full crowd in attendance.

WWE News: Two-night Wrestlemania was born during the pandemic era

The two-night Wrestlemania was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when Wrestlemania 36 took place behind closed doors at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Wrestlemania 37 followed the same suit with a 50% audience each day at the Raymond James Stadium.

The reception from the WWE roster for a 2-night event has been humble. Many people within the company have been notified about the plans for a two-night Wrestlemania 38. However, this latest report contradicts the plans announced by WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, who noted in an interview in January 2021 that after WWE Wrestlemania 37, the future Wrestlemania events would be a one-night affair. She stated,

“We want to maximize the value. The two nights are unique to the times [pandemic]. We have plans to go back to one night for future WrestleMania events, but of course, we will see what happens this year. We want to deliver the best possible value we can for our fans who are hopefully able to attend and for those watching all around the world.
