WWE NEWS: .WWE Recruits, an eight-part docuseries that Roku has announced, will be executive produced by John Cena. The show will follow prospective WWE players as they attend tryouts to join the roster. The show, which was shot in Los Angeles last week when NIL tryouts were going on, will also include Cena.Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Shawn Michaels, Big E, Bianca Belaire, and Ric Flair will all make further cameos in the new series. The premise of the series will follow new potential WWE talents as they tryout & attempt to be signed by the company, then go on their journey to become WWE superstars.

By combining with the UFC, another wildly successful fight entertainment corporation, the WWE is presently making history. The Ultimate Fighter, a similar television series that allows viewers to see how up-and-coming fighters are trained behind the scenes, is produced with tremendous success by the Ultimate Fighting Championship brand. One of the first instances of what these two businesses want to achieve through their partnership is this new series. With this agreement, Roku joins the long list of networks, including NBCUniversal, Fox, A+E Networks, and Netflix, that now provide WWE content for distribution. Yet, only USA, Peacock, and Fox carry its real matches and events.
Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bianca Belaire, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who is presently in head of WWE creative, and Cena will all feature on the show in addition to producing it. Shooting has started, and footage from last weekend’s Wrestlemania has already been created. Cena made a statement outlining his goals for the night.
