WWE News: “He’s My Idol, Means The World To Me”, Former WWE US Champion Admires The Undertaker

Today, many WWE Superstars admire him and imagine having a dream moment with him. Recently, former WWE United States Champion Damian Preist named his WrestleMania dream moment.

The former United States Champion featured in an interview with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri. Talking to CBS Sports, Preist mentioned who he idols and how he made so much progress in WWE. He named ‘The Deadman’ The Undertaker his idol and talked about having a dream WrestleMania moment with him.

Preist said, “If it was in a different era – standing, holding a title on my shoulders with the lying body of The Undertaker [below him], but out of respect. Obviously, he’s my idol, means the world to me. Being able to have a moment at WrestleMania with him, winning the big one to go off the air, that would be special.”

Further, Damian Preist also talked about his NXT run and how things changed for him since then. Currently, he is in a feud with Finn Balor for the United States Championship. In the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Damian Preist defeated Finn Balor in a non-title match.

WWE News: Vince McMahon to Induct The Undertaker in the 2022 Hall of Fame

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has a lot of respect for The Undertaker. Over the years, The Undertaker competed in several matches with his undefeated 21 win streak at WrestleMania.

During Vince McMahon’s appearance on Pat McAfee Show, he announced he would induct The Undertaker into the 2022 Hall of Fame. Even The Undertaker was delighted to hear the special announcement from Vince McMahon himself.

The Undertaker is a former 4-time WWE Champion with big wins over many WWE Legends like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Edge, Mick Foley, Batista, Mark Henry, and many more. Although it is an end of an era for the WWE fans, they will remember him as one of the greatest WWE Superstar.
