He further added, “I feel like I’m old enough to be his grandfather. I’m extremely proud of him. I first met Big E when he was a kid at one of my signings. For him to be a fan of mine throughout the years, it’s an honor and a privilege. Now, I am a fan of his. I love his work, I love his enthusiasm, I love his passion. To me, he’s the prototype for a wrestling superstar in 2022.” H/t si.com

WWE News: Goldberg has only one more match left in his contract

Goldberg, even at 55, is one of the iconic superstars in the company. He last stepped foot in the ring against the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV event in October 2021.

It was a No Holds Barred match, and both competitors took each other to the limit before Goldberg dismantled the All-Mighty with a spear from the ramp to the stage downside. Since then, he has not appeared on WWE TV, and we all wait for his next and final match on the contract for 2022.
