Former WWE writer, Vince Russo also was all praise for the Deadman. On the latest edition of Legion of RAW, Vince Russo and Dr Chris Featherstone sat down to review the latest episode of RAW. As soon as the topic of The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction came in, Russo claimed he would be a Hall of Famer even if he didn’t wrestle.
“Bro he could be in the Hall of Fame even if he didn’t wrestle. This was a modern day John Wayne. Just the backstage presence, and the respect, and a man of few words, and wrestling hurt, like the old gunslinger – I mean bro he could have been a Hall of Famer without even wrestling a match, that’s how much he’s meant to this company without a shadow of a doubt”
The Undertaker last wrestled in the year 2020 at WrestleMania 36. He defeated AJ Styles in a boneyard match, he announced his retirement at Survivor Series 2021. This year The Undertaker is only Hall of Fame inductee uptil now, it will be interesting to see who else gets added.
