WWE News: Former WWE Superstar Bobby Fish wins boxing debut with second-round TKO
WWE has a series of ex-superstars who have now moved on to other things after being a part of the roster. Bobby Fish is one among those ex-superstars who have switched sports as he made his Pro Boxing debut in Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE. In his debut match, he faced Boateng Prempeh.
The match has a pretty normal start with Fish landing a few powerful jabs at his opponent but, Boateng’s supposedly hurt his left shoulder(near the ball & socket joint) in the first round.

In the second round, though, things even looked better for the ex-WWE superstar. He was quicker, showed better reflexes, and dominated Prempeh. Later, he knocked his opponent down with a powerful KO by the 1:30-minute mark.
Bobby Fish must surely be happy with his debut win. For his upcoming professional battle, the 46-year-old ways he intends to try professional kickboxing or mixed martial arts. “The next one, I would really like for it to be kickboxing or MMA because that’s what I’ve done. I’ve been doing martial arts since I was a kid and that’s what I love,” Fish said.

WWE News: Looking back at Bobby Fish and the Undisputed Era
As Bobby Fish makes headlines by winning his first-ever pro wrestling match e felt its a good time to look back at his tenure in WWE. So, let’s get started.
Despite not having a contract, Fish made his NXT debut on June 23, 2017, at the television tapings, losing to Aleister Black. Fish faced Aleister Black in his NXT televised debut on July 12, 2017. At first, he was a short-time performer who used to make rare appearances but, things changed after he attacked Sanity alongside Brooklyn III, and O’Reilly. Soon, they understood that being a collective will help them get more attention. thus, The trio of Fish, Cole, and O’Reilly was dubbed “The Undisputed Era” in the month that followed.
Soon Fish and O’Reilly defeated Sanity to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. As time passed, the trio gather more and more traction from the fans. They were now prominent figures on the NXT roster. But, an ACL injury sidelined Fish for over 6 months. After coming back Fish and O’Reilly once again won the tag team titles at NXT Takeover Wargames. But this whole victory was rather short-lived.
The fury of the undisputed era started to slowly fade away. The final nail in the coffin was put with the trio’s matchup against Team McAfee, where they defeated Team McAfee but Fish was critically injured once again. This time was even longer.

It was during his absence that The Undisputed Era split up following Cole’s betrayal of O’Reilly and Strong. Later he did make a few solo appearances but, his time in WWE was now over. He was finally released from WWE on August 6, 2021.
