WWE News: Damian Priest Reveals Backstage Support From Triple H To Join Bad Bunny At WrestleMania 37
During the recent episode of Masked Man Show, the former United States Champion appeared as a Guest where he recalled his WrestleMania 37 match with Bad Bunny. He recalled how there were backstage problems in letting Priest as Bad Bunny’s partner for WrestleMania. However, Triple H supported and advocated Damian Preist.
For WrestleMania 38, WWE creative team doubted Damian Priest for being the partner with Bad Bunny. But, Triple H supported Preist to get the spot. “There are people like Hunter, who knew I was fine and he is the one, the reason why it ended up happening, because I almost got switched out. They almost took me out of that spot,” said Preist.
“I wasn’t upset or anything, I was like, ‘that makes sense. If I was in their shoes, 100%, that would be the way to go, and Hunter went to bat for me.” said Preist.
Moreover, Preist explained how Triple H supported him and went to take his side. Although many WWE fans name Triple H as one of the best heels in WWE, he is more humble towards young talents. It is the reason Triple H is admired the most in the company.

At WrestleMania 38, fans witnessed Damian Prst on the sidelines during the match between AJ Styles and Edge. With Preist’s distraction, Edge got the victory. On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Damian Preist justified his actions to join Edge.

Moreover, both men assaulted AJ Styles when he tried to attack Edge. According to the reports, Edge’s faction would recruit another member from the female roster reportedly to be Rhea Ripley. Currently, she is aligned with Liv Morgan for a tag team match on the upcoming Monday Night Raw for the Raw Women’s Championship.
