WWE News: Dakota Kai Reacts to Her Release from NXT 2.0- The New Zealander took to Twitter to react to her WWE release. Her WWE journey is far from over but for NXT Tag Team Champion claims she isn’t done yet.
“Above everything, thank you all. I am so overwhelmed by all the love and support. The DMs, txts, tweets.. you all have my heart. I love you. I am thankful for being able to meet, work and intertwine with so many beautiful people, people I looked up to, people I learned from.. I met some of my best friends over these last few years that will remain in my life forever. I don’t know what’s next for me. I chose ‘Evie’ at 17 years old. That chapter is shut.. just know this; I’m far from being done. <3.”

Kai will be out for some time as she needs to serve her 30- day non-compete clause. She hasn’t revealed any details about her future yet, however, the easiest guess is she will join her friends at All Elite Wrestling.
The nine other superstars released were Dexter Lumis, Malcolm Bivens, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Raelyn Divine, Draco Anthony, Vish Kanya, Mila Malani, and Blair Baldwin. Along with Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis was also tipped to be the next big thing for the company. He was also rumored to be making his debut on the main roster. However, in a shocking turn of events, he is no more with the company.
