WWE News: Cody Rhodes Ready to Pay Fines Imposed by WWE for Banned WWE Terms
The former Intercontinental Champion is often used to spell banned terms in WWE where WWE fined him up to $1000. During the April 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes confronted The Miz in a heated conversation where he mentioned his future goals of becoming the WWE Champion.
However, during the exchange of words, Rhodes mentioned banned terms, such as “Belts” instead of “Titles” and many more terms. In response, The Miz corrected him in on-screen interaction. Recently, Cody Rhodes interacted with Steve Ozer of San Diego Comic-Con where he asked Rhodes regarding the addition of “title belts” to the 2-pack WWE figures.
“Buddy, you can say belts,” Rhodes said. “If they fine me $1000 every time I say belts, I’m fine with it. Belts. It can be a title belt, sure, it’s a championship. But it also physically goes around your waist. It’s a belt. So, those are great belts [in the new Mattel figures].” [H/T Wrestling Inc]
