On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, the American Nightmare addressed his injury and announced his absence from WWE for a certain period of time. Recently, Rhodes had surgery for his torn pectoral muscle. As of now, the injury is successful and Cody Rhodes is in his recovery period.
The doctor just repaired Cody's pectoral tendon which was torn completely off the bone. Successful surgery. He is on the road to recovery now.

Recently, the American Nightmare’s wife, Brandi Rhodes, gave an update on Cody Rhodes’ surgery. She took to Twitter to give a positive update on the successful surgery. She wrote, “The doctor just repaired Cody’s pectoral tendon, which was torn completely off the bone. Successful surgery. He is on the road to recovery now.”
Many WWE fans showed their support and delivered their best wishes for the American Nightmare’s speedy recovery. Currently, the former Intercontinental Champion will be out of action until he fully recovers his injury.
