WWE Money in the Bank 2023 Title Showdown

A total of seven matches have been confirmed for WWE Money in the Bank 2023. Among those, Seth Rollins, Gunther, Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler will defend their Championships against Finn Balor, Matt Riddle, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez respectively.

Seth Rollins is the current World Heavyweight Champion. However, that might soon change since he is all set to defend his title against Finn Balor at MITB 2023. Balor on the other hand stated that he is determined to take away the championship title from Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank.

On the other hand, Gunther is also set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Matt Riddle. Gunther had a memorable run with the title but at the upcoming pay-per-view event, the current IC champions might lose to Matt Riddle. Riddle has been attacked repeatedly by Gunther in the past few days, thus he might avenge it by ripping off Gunther of the title.

Also, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Previously, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions but they had to vacate the titles owing to Morgan’s injury. Following that, Rousey and Baszler became the new champs. Now that, Morgan is back from her injury, she along with her tag team partner, might defeat the team of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to once again become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

What Else to Expect?

While Gunther, Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, and Shayna Baszler are in danger of losing their Championships at WWE Money in the Bank, others might soon join them in the same field.

Asuka is all set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair on Friday Night SmackDown this week. If she successfully retains her title against Flair, Bianca Belair might challenge Asuka for a title opportunity at MITB 2023.

Also, United States Champion, Austin Theory, and Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley are currently left without a match at the upcoming pay-per-view event. But, that might soon change.
