Ric Flair believes that Vince McMahon being involved is good for business.

Ric Flair is hardly the WWE’s most problem-free superstar in history. Flair, a man who frequently finds himself in the middle of controversy, has made debatable choices during his illustrious career in wrestling.
WWE Legend Comes Out in Support of Vince McMahon Running WWE Amid Rising Demands to ‘Fire Vince’
The WWE would not be able to function as successfully without Vince McMahon, according to Flair, who recently made another contentious claim on his To Be The Man podcast. He contrasted the outcome of Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE to what transpired when Ted Turner acquired WCW.“I hope the McMahon family… is still allowed to run the WWE. Because god forbid, we have another situation where Turner buys the NWA. That turned into the worst-case scenario ever.” [H/T Fightful]
He continued by saying that stars will always exist and those unhappy with their position on the roster will always criticize Vince McMahon.
“But if they don’t keep Vince involved and let him help them make creative decisions, I don’t think they’ll be as successful as they would be with him. People say they’re upset with Vince. I didn’t see anybody upset with him. There will always be people complaining about their position in the company because they’re not where they want to be or think they should be, but that’s not the fault of Hunter or Vince. Some people have a pretty high opinion of themselves that they should keep to themselves rather than complain publicly, in my opinion.”
According to several reports, Vince McMahon took control of the situation backstage during WWE RAW and significantly altered the program. His reappearance was not well received by WWE fans, nonetheless.
