Universal Championship: “Demon” Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns: Time for the main event now. Roman Reigns vs. “The Demon” Finn Balor. The match started with a lockup and Reigns was the one to push him down on the mat.

Balor regrouped quickly and started his offense. He started off viciously by snapping Roman’s face and jaw. He snatched his fingers into the eyes and jaws of the champ and kicked repeatedly on his hamstring. Roman went outside the ring and grabbed a kendo stick, meanwhile, Balor also went outside and grabbed a bunch of Kendo sticks.

Balor hit Roman with the kendo stick in the gut and then onto his back. The Extreme Rules match took a brilliant turn when the action went in the middle of the WWE universe. The two men were among the crowd, and Roman Reigns was beating the hell out of the Demon.

He threw him over the kick-off show announce table and then brought him back to sent him back first on the table. However, Balor retaliated as he got out of Roman’s grasp and sent him down. He then jumped on him off the kickoff announce table.

Balor continued beating Roman and took him to the ring. Roman got a chance to spear Balor and went for a pin, but Balor hit a low blow and survived the pinfall. The two men then had some action in the ring and Balor went up for the “Coup de Gras.”

Finn Balor landed successfully on the champ and went for the pin before The Usos came out of nowhere and pulled him out.

The Usos then annihilated Balor for good and took him outside the ring. However, Balor fought back and got hold of the Usos by putting them through the announce table. While he was doing all this, Roman Reigns came rushing from behind and hit Balor with a spear through the barricade.

Just when Balor was down, something strange happened. The heartbeat red lights were on and the demon’s music hit. Balor, all of a sudden gained unimaginable strength and stood up on his feet straight away, He then dropped kick Roman Reigns on the table and sent him into the ring to set himself for the Coup de Gras. Just when Balor went up on the top turnbuckle, the ring ropes were cut and Balor had a bad landing on his knees. This gave Roman an opportunity to spear Balor and retain his title.

Smackdown Women’s Championship- Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch: As the bell rang, everyone in the arena was chanting “EST.” The match started with Becky offering her hand for a handshake, but Bianca didn’t fell prey this time around. Becky caught her for a Manhandle Slam, but Bianca countered by hoisting Bianca for the Kiss of Death. Becky somehow escaped the finishing maneuver and rolled out of the ring to gain some time.

Becky was feeling the power of the EST of WWE as Becky was unable to counter Bianca’s offense and was taking her time again and again by moving outside the ring. Bianca went outside and run into Becky to completely rock the Women’s Champion.

The two women went into the ring now and Becky used Bianca’s long braid to her advantage by pulling it down from the top rope. After a while, the two women were again exchanging offense in the middle of the ring Becky now had some control in the match. Becky was finding her rhythm and slammed Bianca back-first on the mat with an overhead slam.

The momentum shifted in favor of Bianca and she started overpowering the champ. She first took her up for a vertical suplex followed by an overhead slam of her own. She then rocked Becky with a strong right hand before Becky started pulling Bianca’s braid every now and then.

At one point, Becky held her opponent’s braid and pulled her towards her. Bianca was on the apron and she pulled her outside the ring with the braid. The action returned to the ring again and now both women were giving their last effort to put each other down. Some quick moves took place in the ring and the two ladies were going for a quick roll-up cover along with a disarmer from Becky.

In the closing moments, just when it looked like Bianca was about to deliver the Kiss of Death, Sasha Banks arrived out of nowhere and lashed out at Bianca to disqualify the bout. She assaulted the Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch afterwards.

After some lusty blows inside the ring, Priest took Sheamus outside the ring and slammed him into the barricade. Priest continued the attack and hit some heavy right hands on Sheamus until Hardy came out of nowhere and splashed on Damian Priest.

Raw Women’s Champion- Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte Flair: The two women started off with the classic wrestling lock but Alexa Bliss was pushed back by the Queen. The two women stared for a while before Bliss went for a hurricane rana and Charlotte rolled out of the ring to gain some time.

However, when the queen returned to the ring, she was all over her opponent. Charlotte first targeted Akexa’s back by stretching her arms behind her body, then took her up with an innovative maneuver that saw her body stretched up.

Alexa somehow managed to get out of the hold by slamming Charlotte face-first on the bottom turnbuckle. Both women went outside the ring then, and Charlotte swung Alexa Bliss to slam her side-first on the barricade. Charlotte had taken control now, and she was completely dominating with her offense.

The action moved into the ring and Charlotte was all over Alexa Bliss. In the closing moments, Alexa missed a Twisted Bliss but did hit the vicious DDT. She went for the cover, but Charlotte got her leg on the bottom rope in time to survive. Finally, Charlotte took Alexa’s doll Lilly and threw it to Alexa’s face, and hit her with a big boot followed by a natural selection to pick up a pinfall victory.

Smackdown Tag-Team Championship- The Usos vs. The Street Profits: Jimmy Uso & Angelo Dawkins started the proceedings and Dawkins was all over Jimmy as it seemed like he was looking for payback after what The Usos & Roman Reigns did to his partner Montez Ford this past Smackdown.

Dawkins hammered on Jimmy but tagged in Montez aftwerwards. Ford took out his frustration on both The Usos. Jey and Jimmy were exchanging tags quickly and started working on Ford’s injured ribs which were taped.

Jimmy took Montez Ford outside the ring and ripped the tape apart from his ribs. He continued the attack on his ribs by hitting some lusty blows there and then slammed him rib-first on the top rope with a vertical suplex.

After suffering some beating from The Usos, Ford somehow got the opening to tag Dawkins, and he completely changed the complexion of the match. Dawkins was running through The Usos and hit a running bulldog to Jimmy Uso. He then slammed Jey Uso on the mat outside the ring, and a heavy right hand on the ropes to Jimmy.

Dawkins and Ford were now working in tandem with some quick tags, but The Usos were breaking all the momentum of The Street Profits by some timely offense. At one moment, Ford went on the top turnbuckle for the Frog Splash, but Jimmy put his knees up in time and survived the Frog Splash scare.

The Usos then took Dawkins outside the ring and slammed him into the barricade and Ford came out of nowhere to splash on them on the outside the ring from the top turnbuckle. The action was quick but in the closing moments, Ford had to go through a double superkick on his head followed by a double Uso splash. That was it and The Usos retained their titles.

Welcome to the live coverage of WWE Extreme Rules PPV. The night kicks off with The New Day vs. AJ Styles, Omos & Bobby Lashley

The New Day vs. Bobby Lashley, Omos & AJ Styles: Xavier Woods & AJ Styles kicked off the proceedings for either side. Styles started with a kick on the gut while Xavier replied with two chops on the chest and took AJ to the corner for a few more chest chops.

AJ got Woods into the calf crusher but the New Day member managed to hold on to the bottom rope and tagged in Kofi Kingston. Kofi & AJ exchanged some offense before the latter chopped on the back of Kofi’s right knee and he was reeling in pain. Big E wanted the tag and Kofi gave him.

Big E floored Styles with a vicious clothesline and send him to his corner so that he could tag in Lashley. The former WWE Champion came in and blasted on Big E right away. However, after a while, Big E was in command and took Lashley to his corner. Kofi took the tag and all the three members of New Day were simultaneously stomping Bobby Lashley in the corner.

After a while, Kofi was pounded by Bobby Lashley and the latter didn’t waste time in tagging in Omos. The Big man was in complete control over Kofi Kingston as he didn’t give him a second to respite. Omos hoisted Kofi for a vertical suplex but made him land face-first on the mat.

After some offense, Omos tagged in AJ and the veteran continued the offense. Kofi was sent into the corner where he got some time and hit AJ with a double leg chop. Styles tagged Lashley, and he went straight after Kofi to hit him with a clothesline, but the latter ducked and Lashley went outside from the top rope.

The All-Mighty was outside the ring and he took out the WWE Champion Big E on the outside and bashed him on the steel stairs. He then returned to the ring and continued the onslaught on Kofi. After a while, Kofi tagged in Woods, but Lashley continued his attack.

Big E finally made his way back to the corner apron and Woods sensed the opportunity to tag him in. Lashley also tagged in AJ Styles and Big E was completely over him. Big E started the assault on the Phenomenal One, attacking him with authority.

The offense continued to exchange but things changed in the closing moments. Lashley was gearing up for a spear on Big E, but AJ took the tag which made the All-Mighty upset. Styles went up to the top rope to hit the Phenomenal Forearm, but Lashley took the tag midway and went into the ring to spear Big E, but mistakenly hit Styles with a Spear. This gave Big E the time to hit a Big Ending on Lashley to end the match.
