WWE Elimination Chamber Live: Shane McMahon was in plans for Elimination Chamber- Shane McMahon made a return to in-ring competition at the Royal Rumble PPV event when he entered the 30-man Rumble and competed on January 29.
Shane McMahon has not always been a regular face when it comes to in-ring competition but he was definitely considered to be a part of the 2022 Elimination Chamber premier live event set for February 19. WON’s Dave Meltzer reported that Shane McMahon was considered a part of the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match before he lost the spot to Austin Theory.

Speaking on Sunday Night’s Main Event, Meltzer revealed that the plan was for Shane McMahon and Seth Rollins to build towards a feud inside the Elimination Chamber match and finally clash at WrestleMania 38. Meltzer said,

“So he (Shane) was going to be in Wrestlemania against Seth Rollins. He was going to be in the Chamber match. Austin Theory took his spot in the Chamber match. I don’t think he was going to win the Chamber match. I don’t want to say he wasn’t because I don’t know for sure. I think the idea was [Shane and Seth] were going to start a feud in the Royal Rumble.”
WWE Elimination Chamber Live: WWE Championship set to be defended inside the Chamber
The All-Mighty WWE Champion is all set to defend his WWE Championship inside the gruesome structure of the Elimination chamber. The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar, The Visionary Seth Rollins, former one-half of Raw tag-team champion Riddle, former 2-time WWE Champion AJ Styles, and the next-gen superstar Austin Theory will be the other competitors in this match.
