WWE Elimination Chamber: 6 Woman Elimination Chamber Match to decide who will face Bianca Belair at Wrestlemania 39, Follow Live Updates
WWE Elimination Chamber:Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel Rodriguez
WWE Elimination Chamber:Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel RodriguezThe story so far: After Rhea Ripley won the Royal Rumble and chose Charlotte Flair for her WrestleMania challenge, that left Raw champ Bianca Belair without a challenger of her own. The Chamber is an excellent way to choose one, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea if WWE made this an annual thing as long as there are two world titles. The six combatants split up pretty evenly among brand and face/heel lines, though both Asuka and Nikki are hard to pigeonhole on the latter axis. Belair crucially won a match this week on Raw to keep Becky Lynch and Bayley from being added to this bout, which is probably for the best as either would have potentially overshadowed everyone else.
What should happen: The best multi-person matches are ones where the fans have reason to believe anyone can win. WWE has done a pretty fair job of that with this field, as the likes of Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan are worthy of WrestleMania moments, and Carmella has some spark behind her recent return as well. Still, it’s been a long time since Asuka felt like the force she has been, and her recent minor repackaging could be just what she needs. Give us Belair vs. Asuka in L.A., we say.
