WWE Draft 2023 Round 1: On Monday Night RAW, Triple H revealed the first round of Night 2 of the WWE Draft 2023. The second and last night of the 2023 WWE Draft, as well as the final red brand program leading up to the WWE Backlash 2023 premium live event this weekend in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be featured as WWE Raw returns live from Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. WWE Draft 2023 Round 1
To begin the Monday Night Raw show, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H walked over to the Draft 2023 podium. The opening line of “The Game” mentioned how packed and raucous the building was tonight. Triple H reminded everyone of the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, being drafted to SmackDown on Night 1 of WWE Draft 2023. Hence, it will lead to the new World Heavyweight title, and the winner announced at WWE Night Of Champions will be exclusive to WWE Raw.
Rhea Ripley, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion, was announced as the first pick for night two of the 2023 WWE Draft. Rhea Ripley is being drafted to Raw. WWE United States Champion Austin Theory is the first choice for night two, followed by SmackDown.

Seth “Freakin'” Rollins became the brand’s following selection for Monday Night Raw. “The Queen” Charlotte Flair was drafted to SmackDown as the fourth and final pick of round 1.

Brock Lesnar stays as a free agent
Triple H announced that Brock Lesnar is one WWE Superstar not eligible to be selected tonight for the WWE Draft 2023. According to The Game, Lesnar negotiated his status as a free agent earlier today, giving him the option to appear on Raw or SmackDown at his discretion. He then informed everyone that the new rosters would be effective after The night after WWE Backlash 2023. The Beast is set to face Cody Rhodes at the upcoming WWE PLE event in Puerto Rico.
