WWE Draft 2023 First-Round Live Updates

Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman to WWE SmackDown

Round one of the 2023 WWE Draft was announced by Triple H, with the first pick going to SmackDown. Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion, were all selected as one unit.

The Bloodline will continue on WWE SmackDown. Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman receive the first overall selection. According to him, Roman Reigns will continue to hold the Universal championship on Friday Night SmackDown, while the new World Heavyweight title will only be available on Monday Night Raw.

WWE Draft 2023: Cody Rhodes to WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes was the first choice of Raw, but he wasn’t present on the program since the red brand’s superstars were giving live performances all across the UK. Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar are set to go head-to-head at WWE Backlash 2023.

Bianca Belair to Friday Night SmackDown

The Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, was chosen by WWE Smackdown. This suggests Belair will swap titles with Rhea Ripley, the current Smackdown Women’s Champion. Earlier, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch changed their belts in 2021 after the WWE Draft. Meanwhile, Angelo Rawkins and Montez Ford from Raw moved to Smackdown in the second round. Ford and Belair are married. The couple will so perform on the blue brand from this point forward.

Becky Lynch to Monday Night Raw

Becky Lynch was chosen first by Raw in the women’s division. Even though he wasn’t selected on day one of the Superstar Draft, Seth Rollins will remain a part of the red brand.
