WWE Day 1: What happened during Miz TV?
On tonight’s Raw, The Miz hosted his must-see WWE talk show Miz TV and invited the Rated-R Superstar Edge as the special guest. Miz commenced the talk show by saying that he was stunned to see Edge praising him during their last week’s in-ring segment.
The Miz said that he never expected that the Rated-R Superstar would acknowledge his efforts in WWE. But at the same time, he said that he thinks the Rated-R Superstar, the master manipulator, has lost his ‘edge’ because the old Edge would have speared him last week.

Edge was trying to figure out what issue the A-Lister has with him and asked him blatantly. The Miz told Edge that when he made his debut back in 2006, he wasn’t guided by established stars like him (Edge) in the company. Miz said that being a rookie, he needed some guidance, kindness from Edge back then, but he never helped him in his career.

Edge did not agree with what Miz bragged about him and said that Miz was always a ‘shit’ in the company, and he is still the same today. After a few more words exchanged, The Miz said that he wants to make 2022 his own and challenged the Hall of Famer for a match at WWE Day 1 PPV on January 1. Edge gladly accepted the challenge, and the two men will now square off on the first day of 2022.
