WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Sasha Banks wants to bring the Smackdown Women’s Title home- Becky Lynch’s Smackdown Women’s Championship will be on the line at the WWE Crown Jewel event tonight. She will be defending the title in a triple-threat match against Sasha BAnks & Bianca Belair.
Ahead of the mega bout, Sasha Banks appeared on WWE’s The Bump and commented on how essential it is for her to bring the title “home” (on Smackdown). Banks touched upon the fact that Becky and Bianca have been drafted to WWE Raw now, and it is her responsibility to bring the Smackdown Women’s title back on the Blue brand. Here’s what The Boss Sasha Banks stated,

“I have to bring it home. I have to do it for my division. I have to do it because I am the leader; I am the conversation. I have to be the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
“Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, they’re Raw talent, now. They shouldn’t have the SmackDown Women’s Championship over there. So, I plan on taking that baby home, right where it belongs.”

The Boss Sasha Banks is a former Smackdown Women’s Champion and is eyeing a second reign as the Blue brand champion. Her last reign ended earlier this year in April at Wrestlemania 37 after she lost the title to Bianca Belair in what happened to be the match of the night. Banks feels another reign as Smackdown Women’s Champion will solidify her already decorative career in WWE.

WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Sasha Banks comments on the Smackdown Women’s Title triple-threat match ahead of Crown Jewel
While speaking to Kayla Braxton on WWE’s The Bump, Sasha also touched upon her chemistry with Becky Lynch and praised the latter for her incredible in-ring abilities. Here’s what Banks said about Becky Lynch,
“I feel like it comes from all of our years being in NXT together. We grew up in this WWE business together. We’ve come so far, and I think when we step in the ring, we’re so competitive that we don’t want to miss a beat. We want to be the best.
“We want to go out there and have people chanting and saying our match was great for the rest of the time. She’s one of my favorites to be in the ring with. She’s just incredible.”
