Paul Heyman Leave Brock Lesnar For Roman Reigns

In 2020, Heyman found himself in an interesting position. He had just been removed as the executive director of WWE’s creative team, but he still had months left on his contract.

As part of that contract, Heyman had negotiated a clause that limited the number of performers he could work with on-camera. One of the few remaining names on that list was Roman Reigns.

At the time, Reigns was preparing to make his return to the ring after a hiatus due to health concerns. Heyman saw this as a perfect opportunity to make a splash. He knew that Reigns had the potential to be a top heel, and he believed that he could help him get there.

With Heyman as his mouthpiece, Reigns quickly became one of the most compelling characters in all of WWE.

Without Heyman, it’s possible that Reigns would have struggled to find his footing as a heel. Of course, we’ll never know for sure what would have happened if Heyman hadn’t been involved.

In the end, Heyman’s legacy in WWE will be cemented by his ability to adapt and evolve with the times.
