When it comes to UFC fighters, UFC pays the fighters according to their popularity and their performance for a UFC PPV. Their contract gives a base salary along with PPV shares, match-win bonuses, etc. Similarly, boxers earn a lot of money through the same model but they bag a lot of money.

On the other hand, a WWE superstar signs a contract for a certain period of time with an annual salary as denoted in the contract. Moreover, the WWE superstar could earn more with merchandise sales, sponsorships, etc. An advantage for WWE superstars is that they agree to the terms and get financial security through their WWE contracts. On the contrary, the majority of WWE superstars earn in 6-figures. Their contract gives them an annual salary of 6 figures with added merchandise sales. Superstars like Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and John Cena earn millions for their matches. Although these superstars compete for rare opportunities, they add a big chunk of money into their pockets.

According to reports, former UFC champion Brock Lesnar earns around $15 million per year for completing a minimum of 6 to 8 matches per year. These matches mainly occur at big PPVS like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Crown Jewel which give him a high income.

Unfortunately, UFC fighters are hardly booked for 2 or 3 matches per year which put them on the shelf for the majority of the time. Even, many former and current UFC fighters complain about fewer payouts and fight purses.

Hence, it is good to say WWE superstar is paid more than a UFC fighter.
