The wrestler was in absolute control of her bout in the gold medal match. She beat Kazakhstan Altyn Shagayeva 8-0 in the final.

It has to be said that the Indian wrestler was consistent throughout the competition. She registered impressive victories over Amory Olivia, who is the European champion, Ayaka Kimura and Natalia Klivchutska. There was an element of confidence in all her bouts.

So when it came to the gold medal match, Antim was at her impressive best. She did not give much chance to his final opponent from Kazakhstan.

Talking about other wrestlers, Sonam Malik and Priyanka came close to winning gold, but they faltered in the final. The duo settled for silver.

  • She also won gold at the Asian Junior Championships in 2022
  • Clinched bronze in the World Cadet Wrestling Championship 2021
  • Won silver at U23 Asian Championships
