Trish Stratus Turned  Heel

On the most recent edition of Raw, Trish Stratus surprised fans by reverting to her infamous heel character and turning on Becky Lynch. The former Women’s Champion addressed her actions in the ring and emphasized that she is not a mere nostalgia act or someone’s childhood fantasy. In response to Stratus’ statement, the WWE on BT Sport Twitter account shared an old photograph of a younger Roman Reigns with a sizable cardboard cutout of Trish Stratus in his room.

During the March 10th episode of Raw, Trish Stratus stepped in as a replacement for Lita and formed a tag team with The Man to battle Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, the duo of Stratus and Lynch suffered defeat when Liv Morgan pinned the Hall of Famer with a rollup.

In the most recent episode of Raw, Trish Stratus confessed that she was the assailant who attacked Lita and left her unable to compete. Stratus further revealed that she deliberately threw the match and caused their loss to prevent Lynch from getting a title shot, stating that her motive was to “screw” Lynch over.
