Survivor Series Wargames: Major Update on Kevin Owens’ injury status before Survivor Series Wargames

Kevin Owens, the iconic superstar of the Blur band of WWE has made headlines once again as some new updates surfaced about his injuries. On the 14th of November, he suffered a blow on his lower leg, which was finally reported to be an MCL Sprain. Though he won the match against Autin Theory, the injury he sustained has completely sidelined him. As he was immediately sent to the Recovery Centre after the match.

Since then, we have got a major breakthrough about his condition, thanks to Dave Meltzer – Wrestling Observers Radio.

“He’s doing rehab at the Performance Center. However, because Kevin Owens suffered an injury, which the last I heard was a sprained MCL … he was gonna get it checked out.”

Dave also added,

’I’d heard Monday morning, and I haven’t heard anything since Monday morning, that it had not been checked out. But he’s rehabbing it.” “I don’t know if he’ll be ready for the pay-per-view or not. If they do an angle on SmackDown on Friday and throw somebody else in, that tells you that he wasn’t ready.”

“I do know from somebody… I did hear that he’s not moving very well. So he better heal up quick if he’s gonna make that pay-per-view. “And like I said, I don’t know the situation, whether he will or he won’t. I haven’t heard. But that’s the basic situation.” – [H/T – ringsidenews]

It was announced that Butch, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens would face Roman Reigns, the Usos, Sami Zayn, and Solo Sikoa in the main event of the WWE pay-per-view, Survivor Series. But, with rare improvement in his condition, Kevin might miss the opportunity to appear in the Survivor Series.

Sources say he is trying hard to get cleared but, things don’t look so bright for him right now.

Right now there’s no news on who might be the suitable replacement for Kevin at Survivor Series WarGames but, Sportkeeda expects Bray Wyatt to be the person for the top spot. Given the rough history between the Tribal Chief and The Eater of Worlds, the fans will definitely love to watch them faceoff in the WarGames.
