Did WWE Hall of Famer Sting Announce his Retirement?

In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Sting made a surprise appearance. He then confronted the current AEW world Champion, MJF. However, during the promo Sting possibly dropped a hint about his retirement.

Sting said Let’s face it….I am just gonna be real with everybody …..Showtime is almost over for Sting.

With reference to this statement, it now seems like the WWE Hall of Famer will be retiring soon.

Sting’s contract with AEW reportedly expires before the end of 2023.

Thus, with Sting’s contract expiring in a few months and him dropping hints at retirement, he might face the current AEW World Champion in a final match.
This match would be a fitting way to end his career on a great note.
