Ronda Rousey is injured but it is reported that she will not be missing WrestleMania this year. Ronda Rousey has reportedly aggravated a prior injury, however, her injury won’t be preventing her from appearing on WrestleMania next month in Los Angeles.
Originally, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were set to team up and face Tegan Nox and Natalya on Friday Night SmackDown on March 3, 2023. However, it was shown that in a backstage segment, the two teams ended up fighting each other.
Later the announcers stated that Ronda Rousey has suffered an injury during the backstage brawl. Thus, she won’t be able to participate in the previously planned match.
With that, the match got changed to a singles match between Shayna Baszler and Tegan Nox.

The match began with Tegan Nox in charge. Baszler tried to stomp Nox’s elbow but Nox countered with a head-scissors takedown. Then, Baszler locked Nox in an arm bar and Nox tapped out immediately. Thus, Shayna Baszler was declared the winner. During the match, Rousey appeared and stayed out of the ring wearing a sling on her arm.
