Roman Reigns and his WWE WrestleMania 39 opponent are set to make a return on Friday Night SmackDown

Following WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns were at odds on Raw, and Brock Lesnar’s attack on Rhodes further fueled their rivalry. Reigns, however, has been absent from television shows and has not been involved in the feud, as he has been dealing with internal conflicts within The Bloodline. This came after The Usos lost the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

Despite being drafted to the RAW roster, Reigns was the number one pick and will return to SmackDown this week to address the issues surrounding The Bloodline. Meanwhile, Rhodes is also set to join the Blue Brand, which means he will face his former rivals again.

Cody, also known as “The American Nightmare” and a former WWE World Champion, has shown no mercy to his opponent. This face has been relentlessly pursuing a match against Brock Lesnar. Recently, we’ve seen Lesnar act defiantly while Cody has become increasingly violent, even taking on multiple security guards in his pursuit of Lesnar. The face is expected to deliver one last promo on the blue brand before going up against “The Beast” at WWE Backlash.

According to a recent report, WWE is considering a WrestleMania 40 match-up between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. What are your thoughts on the WrestleMania 39 rematch between Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes? Follow InsideSport on GOOGLE NEWS  for WWE News updates with InsideSport.IN
