Randy Orton Return
A few days back, WRKD Wrestling tweeted that Randy Orton might return to WWE at Money in the Bank 2023. The tweet reads “Randy Orton is expected to be nearing a return, possibly even as soon as this weekend’s Money In The Bank. Orton has been out of action since May of 2022 with a serious back injury.“
There are speculations that Randy Orton might return to ignite a feud with Matt Riddle. Meanwhile, Riddle is all set to face Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE Money in the Bank. The viper might return and interfere in Matt Riddle’s match with Gunther thus costing him the title. The feud might ultimately lead to Matt Riddle vs Randy Orton being set up for SummerSlam 2023.
Apart from that, it is to be noted that in 2021, Roman Reigns retained the Universal Championship against Edge. Following the match, Reigns was interrupted by a returning John Cena.
Recently, WWE posted the same clip with the caption “You never know who’s going to show up at #MITB.”
This made several fans speculate that Randy Orton will return to WWE at Money in the Bank just like John Cena did in 2021.
Check out.
Thus, there’s a possibility that Randy Orton might make a surprise return at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.
