On Raw 25th, Elias played his guitar in the Barclays Center. However that was not all, he mocked the legends of Raw. Following this John Cena showed up and things turned ugly. The duo got involved in some verbal argument before getting physical. Elias gave Cena a low blow and smashed a guitar over Cena’s back thus winning the battle. Fans were furious with the whole showdown and shouted “stupid idiot” at Elias.

Both Cena and Elias share a long history together. The duo went one-on-one in 2017 with Cena emerging victoriously. The incident of Raw 25th took place thereafter on January 2018. Again on February 2018, Elias pinned Cena in a Triple threat match.
However, in 2019 Elias appeared on Busted Open Radio and said that he wants a big name for his next fight so that he can uplift his level. He took John Cena’s and The Undertaker’s names as the guys who can help him to get into the next level. Check Out what he said.

But that is the kind of thing I need. On the main roster right now, I’m not sure there’s anybody that gets me at that level.”
