Having seen the transition of the sport for several years, the combat legends seem to have come up with a conclusion on which is the best of all. Ike Tyson pinpointed the current scenario of combat sports and hailed UFC as the best. The Undertaker also agreed. However, Mike Tyson didn’t forget to mention that boxing still brings in the bigger payday.

Chatting with The Undertaker on his HotBoxin podcast, Mike Tyson said, “You know now wrestling became BOOM. Big show now. You know what I mean, this is a BIG SHOW because it has more fans now than ever. It’s entertainment. Boxing is not entertainment.”

“After, like, one fight is over in a mission, nothing is happening, people just talking to each other. UFC when they have a mission, it’s a party. Some people just go to the party, talk through business, but that’s why UFC is more advanced than boxing.”

Mike Tyson seems to be an MMA fan, especially of the UFC. During his podcast with The Undertaker, Tyson also praised Conor McGregor for pulling off his gimmicks. Tyson and The Undertaker had their peak in the 90s and are currently retired. That said, it was nostalgic for combat fans to see two of the greatest icons come together and get candid about so many subjects.

The sporting culture has clearly changed, as UFC is now a dominant force in the entire sphere. Meanwhile, WWE and boxing continue to have their loyal fan bases but are still constantly competing with the steep rise of MMA.

Despite calling their retirements, Tyson and The Undertaker have made several small in-ring appearances. Mark Callaway aka The Undertaker can be expected to perform in the upcoming Wrestle Mania or can at least make a small appearance. However, Mike Tyson may never step into the boxing ring again.

The youngest world champion made his return at the age of 54 and fought Roy Jones Jr, in an exhibition. Tyson claimed to compete in a few more exhibitions, but it has been more than two years since then. Meanwhile, Mike Tyson can also make his short appearances in wrestling events, like the one he did for AEW a few years back. As of now, Tyson and The Taker seem to be enjoying their retired life as they watch young superstars rise to prominence.
