John Cena and Rhea Ripley
Both John Cena and Rhea Ripley were present at WWE Money in the Bank 2023. Though the two Superstars didn’t interact inside the ring at the pay-per-view event, it looks like Cena took his shot with Ripley backstage at the event.
The shot features WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley standing with 16-time World Champion John Cena and it seems like the two Superstars are discussing something. However, neither of them is audible in the video. Soon Ripley leaves and Cena stares at the camera. Check Out.
What Role Did the Two Superstars Play at WWE Money in the Bank 2023?
At WWE Money in the Bank 2023, John Cena made a surprise appearance. The WWE Superstar walked out and entered the ring. He then stated that he is present at the event out of respect. Cena also mentioned that he is trying to bring WrestleMania to London.
As Cena was interacting with the audience, Grayson Waller’s music played. He came out and stated that WrestleMania should take place in Australia instead of England. He then offered Cena to appear on the ‘Grayson Waller Effect’ show. But, Cena passed on his offer. Waller then attacked Cena from the back. However, Cena took him out with the Attitude Adjustment to end the segment.
On the other hand, Rhea Ripley didn’t have a match scheduled at WWE Money in the Bank 2023, but the Women’s World Champion was present at the event to support Dominik Mysterio in his match against Cody Rhodes, which Mysterio lost. However, on Monday Night Raw following MITB 2023, Ripley successfully defended her title against Natalya.
