Mike Tyson Lost His Important Role In WWE
According to a former WWE employee, Tyson’s lack of camera presence was the reason why he lost his role. On an episode of Cheap Heat Productions, former WWE photographer Tom Buchanan described how Tyson was supposed to have a more direct role in the build-up to Austin vs. Shawn Michaels. However, Tyson’s inability to perform his role effectively caused WWE to change their minds.
Buchanan explained that Tyson messed up a very specific opportunity for the cameras, causing WWE to conclude that he lacked the camera presence to referee effectively. “He is not a smart guy,” Buchanan said of Tyson. [Tyson is] not a smart guy. I think he was originally scheduled to be an in-ring referee, special guest referee, but it became clear to us that he just didn’t have that capacity, so he became an outside the ring guest enforcer, and it worked that way.”
This revelation sheds light on the behind-the-scenes struggles that WWE has faced in the past. While fans may have seen Tyson as a formidable presence in the ring, the reality was that he struggled with the scripted natureof professional wrestling.
Buchanan went on to explain that WWE had to change some of the things that were supposed to happen with Tyson due to his difficulty in understanding what he was presented with.
It’s not uncommon for celebrities to make appearances in WWE, but it’s clear that not everyone is cut out for it. Tyson’s lack of camera presence and inability to improvise may have been the reason why he lost his important role in WWE.
In conclusion, while the revelation of Tyson’s struggles in WWE may come as a surprise to some fans, it’s important to remember that even the biggest names can face challenges in new environments. Follow InsideSport on GOOGLE NEWS / For UFC News updates with InsideSport.IN
