Adele is a huge fan of the WWE legend and Hollywood Superstar, Dwayne Johnson. She had expressed her desire to meet the wrestler-turned-actor several times. Finally, her dream was fulfilled at the Grammys 2023.
At the Grammy’s, the presenter Trevor Noah approached Adele and mentioned ” The person that Adele has always wanted to meet but never has is Dwayne Johnson… Now I don’t have Dwayne Johnson tonight but I do have someone called, ‘The Rock”. With that, the WWE Superstar came out of the crowd and walked towards the singer. And they finally met each other, to which Noah mentioned, ” Adele meet The Rock, The Rock meet Adele. Talking in an interview The Rock mentioned how he managed to put a smile on Adele’s face at the Grammy’s. He said he wanted to do something special for the singer. He even mentioned that he himself is a huge fan of Adele and admires her. He said he thought of several possible ways to surprise the singer, however, the main fact is that he kept the entire thing a secret.
He further added that he and the Grammys made sure that the singer gets genuinely surprised after seeing the WWE Star and that is what exactly happened.
