Eva Marie Injury Update: In this post, we will talk about Eva Marie injury update. WWE Raw superstar Eva Marie fell prey to a vicious attack from the Queen of Spades Shayna Baszler this past week on Monday Night Raw.
Eva Marie wasn’t scheduled for a match on Raw, but she made an appearance during Doudrop’s Raw Women’s Championship match against Charlotte Flair. She was there to distract Doudrop and successfully cost the match to her former prodigy. After the match, Charlotte attacked Eva from behind, but Eva remained in the ring for yet another segment.

After the commercial, Eva was seen standing in the middle of the ring, holding the microphone and bragging about how good she is, and how she would have won the title if she had got the opportunity. She also said that everyone in the locker room knows that they can’t beat her, and this possibly pissed the Queen of Spades, who made her way out to the ring. Baszler put Eva through a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring and then put her down at ringside and stomped her elbow into the steel ring steps, leaving Eva screaming in agony.
Eva Marie Injury Update: WWE announced Eva was evaluated after the attack
WWE has revealed that their medical team has evaluated Eva Marie following Shayna Baszler’s attack, and she is being treated for a possible dislocation of her elbow. Eva, however, is yet to comment anything on the attack as of writing.

Eva Marie Injury Update: Is this a legitimate injury angle of part of a storyline?
It would be too soon to comment about the legitimacy of Eva Marie’s injury angle. There is no word on if this injury angle was done to write Eva out of the storylines as WWE did with Nia Jax a week before. Baszler assaulted Nia Jax last week in the same manner, and WWE announced that she would be out for an undisclosed amount of time. Eva’s injury could well be a case of pushing Shayna Baszler as a dominant heel.
