During the WrestleMania 39 match between Edge and Finn Balor, Edge threw a ladder in Balor’s face which busted him open. This caused medical staffs to rush in and later the match continued. However, now it has been reported that Balor received ringside injection and staples during the match. He got injected with a numbing agent and his cut was stapled.

Edge and Finn Balor squared off against each other in a hell in a cell match. They used several weapons to take each other down. Edge once pulled out a ladder and threw it on Balor. This caused the injury. However, the match continued.
Balor delivered a standing double stomp and nailed the Coup de Grace. He then climbed the cell and made a failed attempt at Coup de Grace. Edge then delivered a spear and smashed him with a chair and kendo stick.
For the final blow, Edge smashed Balor with the Con-chairto. Thus, Edge defeated “The Demon” Finn Balor.
