Edge retirement: Recently, on SmackDown Edge, Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles faced each other in a Triple Threat Match as a part of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. However, in the match, AJ Styles defeated Edge and Rey Mysterio and advanced to the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament finals. The WWE Universe seems very upset since Edge lost the opportunity to become the World Heavyweight Champion. With that, everyone wonders if Edge left the company after missing a shot at the title. Edge Retirement: Did Edge Leave WWE?
Before the Triple Threat Match, Edge posted a video on Twitter saying,
“Some people have been running around saying they will finish their stories, and good for them. But it made me think a little bit about my story.”
“This ride will end sooner than later; let’s face it, we all know that. I have to get this done. It’s the last thing to do; it’s the period at the end of the sentence. It’s the last sentence in the book.”
“All of you that are watching this, I assume you’ve been with me on this ride, and I appreciate it. It’s going to end soon, and I gotta end it right this time, and there is no better way to finish it than to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and then when I lose it, that’s it, I’m done.”

In the video, Edge stated that there isn’t a better way to finish his “ride” than to become the winner of the World Heavyweight Championship. He went ahead and stated that when he loses it, he’s done. With that, speculations are arising if the WWE Superstar left after missing out on the world Heavyweight Championship title.
However, it is yet to be known.
