Bajrang Punia, who won silver medal in the recently concluded Asian Wrestling Championships, booked his berth in the national team after defeating Vishal Kalliraman 2-1 in the final.

Bajrang Punia didn’t look at his best as he showed hesitancy in going for attacking moves during the trials. Speaking about it he said, “You will soon see the Bajrang who ruled the mat in 2018. I have just started competing after a long gap, injury was also there so there is bit of hesitancy going for the attacks,” he said as quoted by PTI.
