Last year at WrestleMania Backlash Charlotte Flair lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship title to Ronda Rousey. Following the event, she took time off for her wedding and honeymoon. After a long gap of seven-months Flair returned and defeated Ronda Rousey.
This is happening once again, recently Flair lost her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship title to Rhea Ripley and the former champion will reportedly not enter the ring following her loss at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Check out the reason.

According to PW Insider Elite, during the WrestleMania weekend Charlotte Flair told WWE that she would be taking time off following WrestleMania 39. It is also reported that she informed backstage people that she would travel with her husband, Andrade El Idolo.
It is still unknown that how long the break would last, but PW Insider noted that she won’t be present for this week’s Friday Night SmackDown.

Charlotte Flair took early control of the match. Ripley then started showing her strength and lifted Flair and went for the riptide. However, Flair countered it.
The match went on with the duo charging furiously at each other. Flair delivered a Moonsault while Ripley came with the Riptide. Finally, Ripley sent Flair into the steel ringpost and then delivered the Riptide once again for the win. With that, Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair and became the new SmackDown women’s Champion.
