Women power is to the fore in the Pro Wrestling League campaign video, released by host broadcaster Sony Pictures Network India.

A strong presence of Pooja Dhanda, Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and other girls in the video that also features Bajrang Poonia marks the emergence of women power in Indian wrestling. The society that until not so long ago ridiculed women’s participation in wrestling, today has more female icons to represent the sport than men.

The State with the highest female feticide rate, Haryana has emerged as the powerhouse for women’s wrestling in the country. The female leads in the Sony Pictures video – Pooja, Vinesh, Sakshi – all come from Haryana. Bajrang plays a cameo.

The fourth edition of the league is scheduled from January 14 to 31. The league will be telecasts live and exclusive on SONY SIX (English) +HD, SONY-TEN 3 (Hindi) +HD, SONY WAH and for sports lovers on the move, the league is also being streamed LIVE on SONY LIV App.

The broadcaster has launched the promotional campaign across all offline and online mediums including TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor and Digital media.
