Alycia Baumgardner expresses her first love for John Cena and Pro Wrestling
Recently, Alycia Baumgardner appeared on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump alongside Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest. While speaking on The Bump, Kayla Braxton asked the undisputed champion about WWE. Surprisingly, Baumgardner mentioned that her family turns on every Monday and Friday Nights for the respective WWE shows, and WWE is her first love. She also revealed that she and her sister also loved John Cena.
“I use to actually wrestle, It was my first love. We were big WWE fans, obviously we love John Cena, love the divas. Me and sisters would dress up and think we were divas wrestling.”
This year WWE returns to Detroit in Alycia’s hometown for WWE SummerSlam. Being a WWE fan, fans could expect her to be present next month for one of the year’s biggest events. On the other hand, the undisputed champion is ready to try out of the box. That being said, WWE could potentially sign her in the future.
Currently, there are no reports of WWE signing the boxing champion. However, in recent times, big personalities made their way to pro wrestling. Logan Paul and Bad Bunny are prime examples of it.
Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner defends her Undisputed Championship this Weekend
As noted, Alycia Baumgardner will defend her Undisputed super featherweight title against Christina Linardatou. This will be their second encounter since 2018 when Linardatou defeated Baumgardner via a split decision. On Saturday, July 15th, the two women will square off against each other in a high-stakes boxing bout live from Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan.
Currently, the betting odds for the match feature Alycia Baumgardner as a heavy favorite to win the bout, while Christina Linardatou is the underdog in the fight. Nevertheless, the fight could take turns during their faceoff this weekend as both are prominent fighters.
